Linking DVD player to LCD monitor

So this might be a dumb q... 8)

I have a DVD player with the normal yellow RCA connector which you normally plug into a tv.
Is there a way to convert this to a LCD monitor input? Obviously without connecting it to a pc with a graphics card.

Any suggestions?
