Speaking from being a concerned/involved party - not too many -and even less that know their specs/technical details !
Unfortunately, a lot of these guys are also asking international prices on vintage goods that just can't be justified in a small 3rd world economy/buying market like ours.
But that's the market!
Andreas is operating a set-up similar to Hugh's Fine Guitars (www.hughsfineguitars.co.za). If these guys have a collectible item (and they do) then they will get enquiries from overseas (and they do), so they quote at the price they can get. Hugh Cumming has some limited edition and fairly old Martins. He knows (and anybody can easily find out) what price those guitars would attract in the USA or Europe, and his pricing is governed by that.
And remember that these guys often have to buy guitars in dollars or at a price linked to dollars.
