The LED is ultra bright green. The green I'm fine with, just don't know if the ultra bright thing will make it too bright or not.

To show my support for the 30th anniversary, I shall change my TS9's LED from bright blue to bright green ?

In your opinion, how do these compare with the TS808? - I like the vintage tone of the 808's. I heard these are a little more heavy in tone?

Ok, 3.5 years later I now realize I have to have one ? .....anyone got a 2nd hand unit for sale and reasonable (read cheap) price?

Finally got one, let me tell you these are unobtanium anywhere in the world...I tried Ebay etc and seems ppl hold onto these and don't sell em. Could not source a new one on amazon etc either.... happened to find a new one in ZA for the princely sum of 1600 rand which was the same price as when launched and we know the rand has devalued by huge amoutns since then...

onto the tone, this is my first TS of any kind apart from the TS channel on the TS15 head an cab I had moons ago so not qualified to pass any kind of comparative review, nor am I am nay kind of skilled guitarist however I have to say I am really really chuffed with the tone this thing delivers over a number of various settings...still have to tweak it fully but damn fine pedal it is....

When this was imported to ZA it was 140 dollars in the USA...it was priced here at 2500 and after discount around 1700. At the time I thought that was too much as the rand was under ten to a dollar... Well we know what happened ...

the same pedal would now be marked at around 4k and 2750 - 3000 after discount....its absurd....so I agree ...we are going to see a restriction of what is imported and the more expensive stuff we import directly... the importers and music stores must be seriously concerned and our economy shrinks ...
