The guitars got lost quite a bit in the mix in parts, I could barely tell when the harmonizing came in early on and that fast run with harmonizing later on.

It just didn't do much for me unfortunately. Nothing really hooked me.

P.S. What do those 3 switches above your volume and tone knobs do by the way?

Pretty sure its to select pickups...

Yeah! The 3 switchs are the On/Off of the 3 pick ups, so you can select all combination.
Pretty uncofortable though if you have to make fast changes ?

I know I tend to mix the guitars too much into the music...I have to get better at this! ?

Personally i'm not a fan of prog-metal.

From a musician point of view, i can appreciate what you've done.

Again for me the mix on the harmonies wasn't as prevalant as i think it should be, but like you've stated, its a personal thing ?.

Well, it was ok. But overall was a bit flat for me... it didn't go anywhere or say anything. I will say you have a nice vibrato though.

If your aim was for background music, job well done. If your aim was for "Holy crap this is sweet!" ... ... ... well, not for me. Maybe I've just lost my appeal for this type of music... probably best to ignore what I say anyway.

I am an acoustic guitar player, plain and simple, and I loved the excitement of the piece. The comment above about going somewhere is relevant though.
