Many thanks for posting this Mr T. (Is there an icon for drooooling? :? )
Tell us more about the show please...are these guitars for sale or just show pieces ?
Glad to help expand the GAS of my fellow forum members. ?
The Vintage Guitar Show had European guitar dealers exhibiting, so I would have to conclude most of these guitars were for sale. I doubt guitar stores would do this if here was no money to be made, although they probably got some good publicity out of it.

Thanks for that.
Anything new and exciting catch your eye while you were there?
Actually, I am rather hard to excite when it comes to gear. Lots of new stuff, but very little actual revolutionary, game-changing gear. Maybe I am just a jaded industry insider... :-[ That Fishman MIDI system you were interested in was very impressive, although the guy's Mac stopped working halfway into the demo which brought things to a halt. Sadly I didn't get a chance to go back for another look when it was working.
Lots of cool boutique stuff that we will probably never see in SA, like Vigier and Trussart. The Flaxwoood guitars were fantastic IMO. Possibly one of the few environmentally friendly products in the modern world that actually matches the regular products they are competing with
On the more affordable side of things, Ibanez came out with a nowadays out of character guitar for them which I think was called the FGR, which I quite liked.
Cort also surprised me with a cool semi-hollow guitar with TV Jones pickups. I'll post some pics of these later if anyone is interested.
