Trevor is good but IMO he destroyed Yes, turned them into a AOR american sounding Band. Enjoyed his solo stuff though.
Easy now, Squonker! First the 80s and now
90125 ? ? You do rush in where angels fear to tread ...
Seriously, I'm a huge Yes fan, pre-Rabin and the line-up that gave
90125,
Big Generator, etc. I think they're just different bands.
Yes needed a rejuvenation in that era, and TR gave them that. I think the
Union album, where both line-ups played, shows how great they both were, and also how complementary the two line-ups were (strangely enough). Of far greater concern to the Yes legacy IMHO is Yes' (post-Rabin line-up) reported plans to tour without Jon Anderson. They chose his replacement by watching Yes tribute bands on Youtube, for >☹ >☹ sake!
And they appear to be extremely unsupportive of Anderson in his period of illness.
Rabin walks on water as far as I'm concerned, so I'm (possibly) biased!!
