had some old single coils lying, being long weekend and all, i thought it would good to give them a wood look.
all you need is
*thin piece of veneer, just thicker than paper, i used mahogany, cant remember where i got it.
*super glue
*kettle
while making some coffee and the kettle is near the end, i opened up the top part of the kettle, this will let it keep in boinling and creating more steam, and slowly bend the piece of veneer into place with the steam, glued all around and stuck it on, then removed the left over wood, and glued the top piece on, it took me 10 min to do 1 pickup, and then gave it a coat of clear satin
the first one is a bit rough, but the second one should be better
