I was hugely impressed with the setup they had at the FNB for the U2 concert.

There is a lot of parking not too far from the stadium, about a 1-2 km walk but you have to book this through computicket , in XRB's link you can see where the public can park. If it's anything like the U2 concert, there were plenty of parking staff and metro cops that made the traffic flow like a dream.

Plan it well and leave a couple of hours before the concert and have a picnic, or a beer or two before proceeding to the stadium.
