Joyo Ultimate Octave Fuzz Mod

For anyone using one of these Joyo Fuzz boxes, here's a great mod I stumbled across: http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14129).

The mod requires no additional components (apparently some capacitors were incorrectly installed at the factory) and takes about 5 minutes, all you need is a soldering iron.

Before I modded the pedal the octave-up feature was completely unusable, now it's actually pretty decent. Enjoy!

How difficult is it to take the capacitors off before turning them? I'm quite new to modding and I want to try this as I have one on the way and I really want to make use of the octave function, I'm just worried about taking em off first. Is the board quite finicky? Or is it quite a simple mod?

It's a very simple mod. Each cap is soldered to the board at two points so just heat up the solder, remove the cap, flip the cap around and solder it back to the same two points (just reversed now). You'll do all your soldering from the underside of the board so the trickiest part is locating the right points to heat up with your iron.
