So, which are the good April Fool's jokes that you guys saw doing the rounds this year? I like the Virgin Volcanic one, especially considering that Richard Branson was a contender in a race to be the first person to dive solo to the deepest point in the ocean and was recently pipped to it by James Cameron.

Perhaps not a true April Fool's joke but certainly one of my favourites for the day must be Google Map's 8bit rendition of the world. It's brilliant. Here's what southern Africa looks like:

? the april fools ....... idea did cross my mind as i had a gig today and wondered if after the management would say "april fools day there's NO pay cheque today" or arrive and tell me the booking was an april fools hoax ...............thankfully it wasn't and i got paid in cash ?........

Best one for me was at my previous job, when I resigned onthe 1st of April... I asked them if I can leave straight away, and they (thinking it was an April fools joke) said "Sure" I left right at that moment...

April fools should be like a holiday, if it falls on a Sunday it should move to the monday. How am I suppose to pull pranks at home??

Friend of mine changed his Facebook status from 'engaged' to 'single'. All his fiancee's friends and family flooded her with support, condolences, what a #$%^ he actually was and how she'd be much better off without him - until he posted 'April fool'. Quite cruel, in retrospect ☹

Haha, it's brilliant! Cruel? I don't know, if that's what it takes to flush his fiancée's friends then so be it. I bet they have some explaining to do now.

I bought the Sunday Times, looked at the headlines on the front page and thought "eish!". Then I remembered the date and thought "aha!". Then I saw what I thought was a photoshopped picture of the Blue Bulls playing in pink and my mind was made up. Then I got home and BBMed a friend who works at the Sunday Times and said "cool april fool's headlines" and he said that it was all actually true. Back to "eish!"
