Dean razorback

Hello fellow enthusiasts.
I'm looking to get myself a used razorback cemetery gates, i've found one that's three years old. Haven't actually seen the instrument but i've been told it has no visible scratches or dents on it. Where i come from the actual cost is 4800 dhs ( 1333 dollars), the guy is selling it for 3300 (916 dollars). If the guitar is in good condition is it a sensible purchase?

Similarly, for that kind of coin, there are imho, better options as far as guitars go.

But if you really like dimebag and want to be seen as a thrash metaller.. Then go for it..

Thanks you make sense, anyways I'm really into these shapes so what guitars would you recommend? I live in dubai so am pretty limited in my options. (Have an ibanez store nearby, they sell xiphos kinda like that.)
Btw how long do you think the dean would last?

Personally I would prefer one of the Mustaine Dean V's. I am pretty slight and the V fits me better.
I have played both the Razorback { Which to me is a cross between a V and an Explorer } and the Dean V and both were excellent.
But be careful, you get some pretty dodgy Razorbacks.
But, as you say, your choice is limited. The Ibby Xiphos LOOKS cool, dunno what it plays like, I know it costs a packet.
However, the worlds a village, so you could import I guess.
I am a huge fan of the ESP's myself. The Hetfield Explorers especially. $$$$$$$ ? ?

Dude there are heaps of funky shaped guitars..

Top of my list would be
Carvin V220

then, in whatever order does it for you;
Jackson Warrior
Jackson Kelly
ESP/ LTD Explorer
BC Rich Bich
BC Rich Warlock
Washburn Dimebag sig (if you can find one)
Ibanez Xiphos
etc etc

The Razorback is fine if you like that sort of thing. Just be sure that it is the high end model.. I dont know enough about Dean guitars to tell you what to look for..

Price depends a lot, I dont know what your circumstances are but you can get good prices from the US, even UK.
