How many of you guys have a presence on www.reverbnation.com? I've been spending some time lately trawling the site and I'm actually enjoying it quite a lot.

I've been focussing my attention mostly on South African bands and it's a real treat to see the diversity and quality that we have here. Today for instance I felt like folk so I listened to some local folk singers on ReverbNation. Some goodies that I stumbled upon:
Mali Korsten
Frankie Beagle
Nate Maingard
Bongeziwe Mabandla and the Fridge
Andrew James & The Steady tiger

Some really bad old recordings done with a laptop mic when I was in my teen angst years, you can actually hear the laptop fan through most of the songs :-[

But ya reverbnation is pretty awesome, found tons of awesome local bands and muso's trawling the archives. Great platform to start getting your recordings out there.
