MIKA-the-better-one
So I used to own a Dr z Carmen ghia 210 combo.... a 2011 model... I sold it and after about 6 months and a whole other story I am back to having a Dr Z Carmen ghia but this time its a 2002 model... which Die Hard Z fans apparently is a better sounding amp......
I also just today received new tubes. I ordered some pretty nice ones as well.
Basic JJ el84s. a Jan phillips NOS 5751, a Jan Phillips NOS 5y3, and a nice Tung Sol 12ax7 (which I am told sound great)
Right now I have some pretty old tubes in the Dr z, but in V1 a 12 ax7..... which makes the amp SUPER LOUD, Louder than my 68 bassman and 212 cab when run together....
So I shall report back when the change is done... maybe tonight ?
