Bridge saddles

There is an SX strat shape that I may be able to get for a good price, but it is missing one of the string saddles (the little thing you adjust for intonation). Are those easy to get a hold of? Am I going to buy a fix up guitar that I'll never be able to fix up?

Saddles are very easy parts to source. Often the tech in your favourite store will have spare stuff just lying around that you might be able to have for free. If not, there are plenty of different saddle replacement kits you can buy at a pretty wide range of prices, either at a local store or online from sites like www.stewmac.com.

I did something similar some months ago. Bought a full set if Mighty Mite saddles for R100 from a local store. Great things, they're arched, as opposed to the solid blocks, and they seem to help with sustain on the strings.

For example, I think the SX will have saddles currently like this:
