When playing acoustic in a band setup, I need to boost my guitar's level for solos to get out of the mix. At this stage I'm using a Boss EQ ped for that, by using the volume slider on the pedal...
Can I just use an over the counter one-knob booster pedal? It seems they're built for electric guitars and I will need just a little increase in output, since there is a danger of feedback with the acoustic.
I have a single gain knob, foot-switchable booster pedal that I built sitting in my cupboard. I don't use it as I have a separate boost clean boost on my BYOC OD2 TS-808 clone. The booster is built in to a translucent blue plastic case about the same size as a Boss compact pedal. It runs off a 9V battery or 9V centre-negative dc adapter (standard Boss type) If you would like to borrow it and try it out PM me. If you then want to keep it, we can talk.
