The really big one in Pretoria East?

I have to admit that I dig a live band in a church, it really just wakes the whole place up and gets the party pumping. Went on Sunday as they were closing off a womans confrence doo dah that my wife attended and they had a full female band.......and I can say one thing.

Damn a woman working a bass guitar is a fine site indeed. I loved it more because she was playing the crap out of that thing......kudos to her.

Alas no pics, because I felt that it was bad form taking pictures on my cell phone and waving it high in the sky in a church.

Surely he was referring only to her proficiency? ?
Must agree with FFF, something rather appealing about a woman behind a bass. I've been quite a happy camper since Ilse moved from the drums to the bass ?
I've been to this church once, saw Third Day there. Really enjoyed it, sound was great.

My wife was actually the one who pointed her out that she looked a bit dwarfed by the big guitar.

I have to admit though that the sound in that church is damn good. No expense spared. The church has a max capacity of 7000 ppl and this Sunday it was standing
room only.

I will refrain from commenting on the no expense spared ? and instead comment on the bass size... Southern Gypsy Queen also played at the Blues Fest couple of weeks ago. The bassist's J was the same length as her... looks kinda cool.

No disrespect intended, I'm also in a church band, but it's easy to spare no expense when you offerings on a Sunday morning is over R1m... It's easy to find good muso's in the biggest church in Pta, try putting a good band together in a church that seats 200 people... But yeah their band is excellent.

I think that they actually have a few muso's as I've seen a few drummers and guitarists.
