Tone Vinyl still the best sound, digital is music censorship. They lop off some of the sound so as to fit more music on a disc. Blue ray is probably the closest to vinyl sound wise.
vic OK guys...now tell Jack (and me) where (in Cape Town preferably) we can get these conversions done ?
ruvann Started my collection of vinyls last month. Ordered myself Parkway Drive's Deep Blue. Just gonna buy the vinyls for now before they become even more scarce even though I don't own a turntable yet ☹ hehe Looking to strike a good deal on a Technics SL1200. Hint hint ?

Jack-Flash-Jr Norman86 wrote of course its legal, provided its for personal use! That's what she said!
Norman86 You're allowed an electronic backup of tape, cd or vinyl. so there is nothing wrong with buying one of those machines, and ripping the music yourself!
Norman86 if you're paying someone else to do it for you though... thats a problem. they tend to keep a copy for themselves.
