my strat is mint , absolute mint ...i went over it with a fine tooth comb last night , with my glasses on and one of em head torches (yes i am anal and only have 45 days to make up my mind ? ) it came with all the tags, the books , the allen keys ,no fender rag though :-\
i then went about flattening the bridge and did some adjustments, i cehcked all the frets one by one , checked the back , the join , intonation etc etc etc ..i so badly wanted to find faults..... suffice to say there were none ,even wit the bridge set to flaoting when i got it the guitar was remarkably in tune....double packed in cardboard around the moulded case. in my case its a keeper ...... dont need 45 days , needed just 1 to make the decision 8)
as shipping is no longer included and only having the option of stadard shiping par avion the deals are no longer superative unless you buying high ticket items where even with the cost of shipping it may be worth it.... high end gibsons or fenders etc which are not always available here.
but if the site says mint (or condition 1) then with the 45 day return policy there is no risk (except the cost of shipping i spose if one is paying for it now)
just want to add here that being left handed has pushed me more to on line purchases than i may do if iwere right handed. i just dont have the choice you guys have so have had to look elsewhere. even buying locally means a guitar has to be shipped from another branch or cape town or wherever. i cant go to a store like u guys can and try out 300 differnt guitars.
