14% of the value of the item ..worked out to about a grand includin a customs fee of 100 rand .... VAT will vary according to amount spent on the item in the first place.
they will not ship new items , only second hand items , in my case the item was marked as mint and initial indicatiosn are that it is indeed mint..will give it the fine tooth comb lookover this evening ..
when buying second hand from musicians friend , if item is marked as mint then its elgibile fgor the 45 day return policy , confirm that it is ,,,this could be important
