Hello, everyone.

I've been a member of this forum for a year (and wasted *far* too much time here instead of working!) and I've yet to introduce myself.

Hello. My name is Ash.

OK, now that I've got that out of the way, let me tell you a bit more about myself. I am human and I need to be loved... ?

I've been playing air guitar all my life, but only picked up a real live one five or so years ago. I have no talent but I try hard ? I love Zeppelin, The Smiths, Radiohead, Nirvana (In Utero is a messed-up masterpiece), Jeff Buckley and loads of other artists. I effing *hate* throwaway pop songs, and plastic, manufactured "artists" who, I'm sure of it, are processed entirely from discarded CDs and DVDs in some classified area of Sony Music headquarters. This latter sort of "music" is, at best, noise pollution; at worst, a crime against humanity. I think that the only music worth listening to (for any extended period) is the sort of music you'd take with you to heaven.

Sorry for whining ? I just care very deeply about good music and art in general: it's the closest I've come to having a religious experience, you see ? What's more, I only really feel alive when I'm singing songs I care about; I hope that if I add playing guitar to this, I'll feel doubly alive!
