Tap tempo tremolo

I've just built a DIY tap tempo tremolo. It uses a single chip microprocessor to generate a selection of 8 different waveforms (ramp up, ramp down, square wave, triangle, sine wave, sweep, lumps and random) driving an NSL-32 LED/LDR optocoupler which carries the audio signal. The audio path is entirely analogue. The tapped-in tempo can be mutiplied by 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, or 4, or the tempo can be set manually. There are the usual depth and volume adjustments and a "distort' knob that shifts the null point of the waveform in time. I also added an external jack for a tap switch.

The project is based on a Electro Druid pre-programmed microprocessor that generates the waveforms. You can buy the circuit board (unpopulated) and the pre-programmed processor from Taylor Livingston. I sourced some components from the US, some from the UK and some locally. It's not a cheap pedal to build.
If anyone would like info on where to source parts, advice on building or even if you want me to build one for you, let me know and I'll be happy to help.
I could post some sound clips (if I knew how!) but I think the key to this pedal is its versatility so it's probably best you try the pedal yourself. It's presently with Stuart at Marshall Music for the weekend, but if you would like to borrow it to try out, I'm in Sunninghill Gardens, Sandton, and you are welcome to borrow it as long as you promise to return and you lodge the deeds to your house with me! ?

It's now back from Stuart. He was blown away by it. Apart from all the features, he A/Bed it with a Voodoo Labs tremolo, which doesn't even have tap input, and said that the TTT was warmer and more transparent.
So, if you want to try it out at my place, or borrow it for a few days, drop me a PM.
If there is sufficient demand, I can either assemble DIY kits, which will cost about R900 each or build finished pedals for R1500 each. Just beware that it's not really a good pedal for first time DIY pedal builders. Let me know if you are interested.
