It's not interesting, and it's not a debate - it's a lot easier to lose a 3 by 3 cm object weighing a few grams in your hand than it is to lose a large chunk of wood weighing several kilograms hanging around your neck by a strap !

I cannot for one minute imagine forking out R850 for a pick like this, when a coin will do as well should you want to play with a metal pick. If someone claims to hear or feel a difference between silver and any other metal, I say that's BS.

Maybe our Craig should form his own "Addian Silver Pick Players forum" and leave ours - the average IQ of both forums will be greatly increased...

They did indeed! I made my own picks out of those for a long time!

always like a soft pick , the icecream used to lose it's lid fairly often .

that said , i gave our toolmaker here at work one of my sharkfins , he's gonna make me a hand held pick punch so i can try different materials , thinking maybe make custom printed picks for people

A silver sixpence will cost you more than sixpence these days - they date back to the days of shillings (six pence being half a shilling). The last all silver coins were made in 1920 and then they were made of 50% silver until they were discontinued in 1967. I have no idea of current value, but it will likely be far more than six pence. ?

@Mojo JoJoe - the guy came here specifically to spam and immediately started two threads which were pro his product (one I deleted as it was even more blatant). His IP address originates in the UK too, BTW. Caught out fair and square, he tried to lie about it. Quite frankly, the locals ribbing him is understandable. However, two posts were just namecalling and I have now deleted those (I missed those earlier - sorry).

I am locking this topic now as I don't think there is anything else constructive for anyone to add. If anyone has anything further they wish to discuss, please PM me directly.
