1964 Fender Stratocaster - Fiesta Red

This is without doubt the coolest colour on a Vintage Fender Guitar. ?
It is always difficult to photograph Fiesta Red to get the true colour but here is a snap I took when I picked her up at the airport.

Think that's made up my mind for the color I'm going to paint a MIM I'm stripping and refinishing.

A classic Fender colour. Really the sort of thing you'd use on a big American car with tail fins. Which is the sort of colour that you should paint a Strat. They've got that 60's industrial vibe to them, and they look best in bold, solid colors. I can just about accept the old two-tone sunburst, but all the modern metallic finishes and bluebursts and such.... [shakes head].
