I've put up my ARX for sale and decided, she's going this week. So I slapped on a super low price and waited. Here's the thread on here if anyone is interested, http://www.guitarforum.co.za/index.php?action=classifieds;sa=view;id=569. lol@punt.

It started last night when it went live on Junkmail.

1. (email): I am interested in the item, how much are you asking for the item and will you take R150 less for the item..........lmao @ scammer, I didn't even reply.

2. (sms): do you still have the guitar, if so consider it sold, if it's straight, I'll take it for the asking price. I can collect in the morning. - (this was the same guy who asked me to remove it from where I have it listed because he was coming through from Centurion (uhuh, 15 minutes away) and didn't want to pitch up for nothing, he played it this morning and then prompty asked for the case that it was in as well as my EVH leather strap that was on it, I said nope, as advertised, it's just the guitar, he said it wasn't worth it, so I sent him packing).

3. (call) ....wow, do people still make actual contact?........this is a first.....This one called about an hour ago as the ad went live on gumtree: I'm phoning about the guitar, do you still have it? What is the cheapest that you will go on the guitar? I was polite with him, but said, price is non-neg and I'm really in no rush to sell and can wait for my asking price.

Funny thing is I put up an ad for a guitar case that I got with my AR, that isn't really a great fit, so I've put it up for sale and the damn phone is ringing off the hook for it.

Player #2 just sent me an email.

basically slagging me off and saying that it's a buyers market etc etc etc yadda yadda. to which I replied: Price is firm on what I feel is a great guitar at a great price.

will you meet me halfway from Centurion and then I'll take it from you for R1500.

to which I replied:

Sorry, you know where I am, I'm not prepared to be shafted around.

Yeah that thread had so much awesome in it, I was really hoping that the poor sod was actually going to get the guitar as I thought on a few occassions that it was a forumite pulling my leg.

I wanted to see the mother, she sounded like a real Brooklyn Tannie.......

Currently dealing with a Nick who's currently driving through from Jhb to get the guitar case, I've had 12 people interested in it and I've told them all, first come first serve. Apparently there is a great trek of twanger slingers driving through from jhb as we speak, if you work in midrand along the highway or are currently at virgin active or vodaworld, then look out the window and you'll see them in droves.

Guit case should be gone in the next 30 min..............question is who is gonna be first.......?

SO the guitar case is gone, speedy nick from Jhb just collected her. I had a call just come through from someone sitting outside my building wanting it.....lol.

I did say before you come, please call to see if I still have it, the poor guy thought that it was a scare tactic to rustle up an easy buy.lol.
