Agreed. And I have pedals to do that for when I use my amp. This is for a different application and regardless of how good an amp is, it will not work in this application. I know that.

can't do, I'm interested in what it
can do. And, while I'm in no way chasing the traditional sounds, they are a useful reference point as a basis for description. Whatever I go with, I'll still end up with sounds that are both good and my own.
