funkyspacecadet Even if it's all software, I think this sounds pretty good ? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20482435/timetravelingvolkswagon.mp3 Me on keys, friend on guitars.. and lots of space trippy verb 'n analogue tape delay.
funkyspacecadet for better context, with the rest of the instruments: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20482435/timetravelingvolkswagon-allinsts.mp3
AlanRatcliffe That's very cool - nice mellow, spacey feel. Much better in context - the "tape wow" seemed a bit extreme in the isolated track, but fits perfectly in the mix, where it comes across almost like a lap steel, sliding into the notes.
funkyspacecadet Yeah the tape wow will be reduced or just get more mellow as it comes in.. not sure, will see how it fits in context with the previous song - as I'm planning to do something similar to NiN's The Downward Spiral.. one long 'song' / theme as it were. Thanks ?
