Hi All,

Had a rather busy month finding alternative accomodation, coping with a death in the family and finding ways to pay the bills etc etc, but glad to be back for a while, until the groot trek on Thursday ?
I should be online and jitter free next week. I really have missed chatting to all my axe wielding buds and learning something new every day on the forum and look forward to a peaceful November ?

PS: Anyone noticed the Christmas Carols in all the shopping centres yet?

I dont know about you guys, but I cant stand Christmas Carols. They just seem so out of place in RSA.
Why do we dress up the shops in snow etc?
We should be celebrating the sunshine , we should have Father Christmas dressed in shorts or a safari suit .
Maybe we can write some updated Christmas Carols that dont mention snow or holly and ivy.

Ok scrap that! The agent cocked up and the deal fell through. We were lucky enough to find a nice house in Welgemoed. Still close enough Manny?

Geez just shows how busy I was! Only a little less busy now, but managed to at least check in. I disassembled an old piano that was left in the house. The thing sounds brilliant after vacuuming 1.5 kilos of dirt, needles and pins out of its innards, as well as replacing missing damper felts. The keys are as white and shiny as the extra on an Aquafresh ad. Now I have to replace about 40 jack springs, 60 bridal straps and a trio of strings ?
