Renesongs

Ok I'm Going to give 49 hours to get this one because it's not just a word it's a whole scene. The scene is from a schlock horror movie. you know when the pretty dittsy blond girl goes wondering off ALONE into.... the dark/the deserted house/the other room ... to find her missing friend/cat/hair pin.... and you know something really bad is going to happen to her because they start playing that spooky spine chilling suspense filled music.

I invite you to write that music.... or you might not know what will happens ne......aughhhhh ☹

AlanRatcliffe

Is that the one where she breaks her heel/twists her ankle running away from the monster?

Sadly, I just don't have the time for this one. ☹ I'm absolutely swamped at the moment.

NorioDS

Nice one man! Very cool idea.

Riaan

That scene where she does the most stupid, illogical things like descending down the steps into the dark cellar all alone, and the whole audience goes: "No, don't go there...!" But without which there would be no movie.

Sounds like Zippo lighter across the strings type of stuff...

dyllels

hahaha very awesome Rene.

This is an interesting one. Getting started on this as soon as i wake up. Getting that whole 'why run up the stairs when you could go out the front door' type of feel.. or maybe thats just me ?

Martyr

crap....i HAVE to beat Rene, but the next 2 weeks aren't good weeks for me >☹

i'll try anyways ?

Lethe

do these recording have to be done purely with guitars? or can i use a keyboard as well?

NorioDS

So what's the official deadline? Wanna see if I can fit this one in.

I'd love to, but I don't think I'm allowed to compete in this one maybe I could enter with a 5 vote handicap hey Norri ?

Record what you like as long as it's yours and there is at least one guitar noise in it.

The official deadline is midnight Wednesday. However I will entertain applications for extensions with possible penalty votes

Matt-White

How can we inspire more people to vote? That's a lot of trouble to go to for a total of 14 votes, don't you think?

Sean

Those who don't vote get demoted to newbies ?

Squonk

I better start learning how to record!

MikeM

☹ I don't have an input on my pc...

Sean

Those who don't vote, not those who don't take part... tsk tsk tsk

MikeM

I wasn't talking about that btw ? I WANT to take part ?

NorioDS

Rene, there's no good reason why you can't take part. You're not judging the contest, the full forum is, so it's ok.

By the way, I'm considering moving the competition a bit earlier in the week (Monday) and maybe let the deadline be Thursday with Friday to Sunday left for voting. Reason-being so more people can get involved AND so we can announce each competition in the newsletter, along with the previous week's results.

Who digs that?

MikeM

I think that sounds like a good idea ?

Explorerlover

Oooooh...I am sooo ready for this one....just need to extinguish that wall of fire....

Sean

Yes, sounds like a great idea, more time will make it easier to take part.

Matt-White

Yup, I agree. I also think the forum is at its most active on Fridays and being able to vote on a Friday could increase the number of votes.
