Riaan Guys Hope someone can advise: I dropped my iPod (60GB classic iPod) on a hard floor yesterday, and afterwards it played without problems for one or two songs. Then it quit. I reset the iPod, whereupon I got a message "Battery very low" in spite of the fact that it was fully charged beforehand. Reset it again, and it shows a "sad iPod" icon. According to the support website, tried forcing it into disk usage, still no luck. According to the website it needs servicing if it does that. So, who does servicing of iPods in SA? Do you think my trusty old iPod, my only friend through teenage nights... ?...can be salvaged?
MikeM I saw some advert for repairs on facebook a while back, i'll keep a lookout for it for Ya. Good luck with the pod otherwise man

Riaan-Combrink Riaan wrote my trusty old iPod, my only friend through teenage nights. You do see the extreme irony in that quote, don't you????!!!!!! ? ? ? ? ? ?
dyllels If you have had your iPod for less than a year. Take it to an apple shop, They will be able to replace it with a new one for free ? They replaced mine with a new one when my screen stopped working ?
Riaan Don't think that will work...I've had it for more than a year, and I dropped it. My carelessness... :-[ You do see the extreme irony in that quote, don't you?!!!!!! Haha! Should have been only friend through middle age nights I guess...
