Indeed, a great builder!! I have looked over that site a good number of times! There are several great builders on that side of the pond. A few on this side too, but the prices ☹ ☹

Mike Greenfield makes great guitars in my opinion but unfortunately didn't meet my criteria in some ways ($).

But I do have one build only due in Jan 2014 and which was commissioned last year so I guess my patience is growing. ?

DADGAD as in very suited for dropped or lowered tunings. Baritones and in this case Fan-fret guitars are good DADGAD guitars.
As for Michael Greenfied: yet another very successful and very sought after Canadian builder, as you might know Squonk, Andy McKee, Don Ross and Tony McManus play his guitars.

Cool.... wasn't aware of the fanning issue... would still like to try one of those ?
