Kiss did magic, set van halen onto the road (well simmons anyway) and influenced a whole array of "live albums" including frampton comes alive i reckon. Kiss were magic and expanded the boundaries of the merchadising deals (stanley and simmons are business men ) ...
musically they cannot be faulted , delivering a high level of recrding over na over again (except hte elder) and simmons/stanley i rate as one of the top 3 songwiritng duo's ever.
Kiss are coming up for their 40th anniversary next year ...still going strong and when touring the turnstiles become fans .....
