Hi y'all, just found this forum, and was quite chuffed to see it seems to be quite active.

I guess I've got to do the "a little about myself" thing so here goes:

I'm 42, married, we have a two-yearold boy and one on the way, and live in Rivonia.

I occasionally play in a cover band at bike rallies, mostly classic rock like Led Zep, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath & stuff, as well as some G'n'R, Metallica and Collective Soul ....

I'll post the gearhead stuff later. Suffice to say: M-A-R-S-H-A-L-L !!!! (let the flaming begin ? heheh)

Just a few times a year, we just did the Rhino last WE and we're doing the Poison on the Saturday in Dec as well as the Toy Run.

Haven't been riding much since fatherhood came around, just a few track days ....

I once played a rally down here in the Cape. You bikers are hectic! Didn't know if they book you to play the weekend they mean the WHOLE weekend. ? They don't sleep, and let's not talk about 45 minutes sets, etc. Rock 'n roll!! ?

Heheheh, I know what you mean, it takes a week to recover from those gigs ....

These days we try to negotiate just one (usually Saturday) night for 3 - 4 hours so that we can still get family time in ....
