singemonkey Ridley Scott's made some of my favourite films - including Alien. But I've learned to be wary of doing my chicken counting til the credits roll with him.
Manumanu This was supposed to be Alien 5, but Scott changed his mind during the project and made this. I hope this is gonna be great ! As a big Alien fan, I wish that we'll learn things about the spacejockey. It would be lame if the Derelict is only shown for teasing.
singemonkey Alien was a great film. The rest were all just skop, skiet, en donner of varying quality. So if this is just another one in the "series" derived from the brilliant original, I don't hold much hope for it. If it is a sequel to Alien, there might just be something in it.
Warren Ah yes. Very excited for this as well. Alien (also Cameron's Aliens) and Bladerunnner are some of the few movies I still re-watch from time to time. @SM I think it's meant to be a sort of "spiritual prequel" to Alien. I'm trying not to read anything about it. ?
Manumanu Unfortunately, I did just read what seems to be the story of the movie... I hope that I read a fake. And if I don't, I REALLY wish that there will be some surprises !

dee This was released yesterday. If you have a bit of knowledge regarding the Aliens and/or Predator universe, you should understand: =
