Julian Laxton might be a familiar name to you. Trevor Rabin played with them briefly too. The Band Hawk was also connected with them in some way too - another unsung great SA band.

Uncle Goatlips ?? { He is a guitarist in Juggernaught and a forumite, and what a band Juggernaught! Worthy of a post on this thred for sure!}

A very solid and unequivocal +1 to that Squonk! I heard the song for the first time somewhere during my primary school years (it was released when I was Gr 1) and I've loved it ever since.

Thanks, Deefstes. I'd forgotten about Vyfster. That song made a lot of money for Lloyd Ross. Most of it got pumped into his Shifty Records label.

Lloyd Ross is one of SA Music's most devoted & faithful servants. I wish he'd write a book about the Shifty Records era.
