As with all things music related you will need to find your own groove. The more you do it the easier this becomes. You will then realise what works best for you with regards to age, class vs 1-2-1, pricing etc.
I have an age 9 starter point as I personally find younger kids not rewarding enough! Groups are difficult but great to get them all playing different parts together which can be great fun and inspiring for the pupils if you get the balance right.
Also Squonk don't sell yourself too cheaply just because you didn't study at berklee if you know what i mean!

@Peachydragon...to be honest I don't like it either, thought it was a bit egoistic, but it was all I had handy...thought it might create the impression that I'm a woman beater when really I'm trying to cut down... :dance:
