So this bass was delivered this morning by the owner from Klerksdorp to a friend in Kempton Park who will now send it to me down here...the gentleman called me to say he has delivered it and all that...however he became soooo emotional while talking to me that I almost burst into tears myself....wow...this is heavy guys....letting go of something that he obviously loved and cherised for many many years ☹ .....not nice at all hey...?......just thought I'd share it with you.
I often wish that some instruments could speak for themselves, just think of the wondrous tales they could tell, particularly when they have had such long lives…
Well Vic, maybe he’ll take some comfort knowing that the bass is going to a good home? Still can’t be easy for the poor bloke…
