Squonk http://www.manne.co.za/intro.asp Look well made and there is a SA distributor, and Karen Zoid has one!
shaundtsl They look well built and good quality. I just dont know if the shape grabs me though. But anyhoo, hows this finish!
Malkav I've always kinda liked their shape but I'm not mad about their headstock. They have some interesting construction designs and they offer some nice adaptations of 7 & 8 strings, but their scale lengths have always made them seem a little bit too small for me, and their price tags are way out of my reach ?

AlanRatcliffe The name rings faint bells, but I don't know them. Still, they look like very nice quality. That's more wood than finish - "wild" or "burl" maple or alder - a figure I truly love in English walnut.
21Fretter Awesome. Maybe a bit blocky on the edges though, I'd dig to see this guitar with rounded sides.
Etsbass Hi Yes I know and own a Manne and want to buy another one. I bought it in Dec 2011 and the best choice ever. I have been in the factory in Italy, met the owner who is the brain behind them and they make top quality stuff. I own the Manne Newport Satin 5 string and used to have a sort of endorsement with them with the band Stranger Daze. Recently I moved over to Australia and the guys here love the bass. I bought it trough Andre who sells them in SA. nice bloke and got a really good deal. A lot cheaper than what it would have been directly from Manne but that will ony apply to anything he has in stock and there is only a few in his showroom.
