Nah, the TE runs of a pair of EL34's or 6V6's in push-pull, and with that circuit topography with EL34's it'll probably put out 30-35W clean and about 45W peak, never 100W.
Right, that will make it a bit more reasonable, but still unusable, even for gigging in the standard SA club.

The 5E3 is mighty loud on 10, but not earsplittingly so.. even with a pair of 6L6's, and as far as I know, I have good hearing.. As long as you don't sit in a small room for an hour with the thing on 10 and give your ears some rest afterwards, everything should be fine. But yeah, some earplugs for R200 will remove the problem if there is one.
This is my point. Even your 5E3 and my 18 watt and my HT5 is loud enough to give you hearing damage. That basically makes them too loud to play reasonably at home, esp in the evenings. For gigging that requirement lifts a bit because of the sheer volume cymbals can generate.
I have only seen someone gig with a cranked > 50 watt once (Richard Pryor) and he was attenuating. I've seen people use DRs attenuated at gigs but most play with the volume rather low. Its folly to think you can play a 50 watt amp properly these days. Singemonkey uses my 18 watt at gigs and the VVR stays at about 5/10. It went on 10 for one gig only and that was outdoors and it wasn't micd.
That all said, a VVRd 6V6 Trainwreck should do nicely... hence my choice above ?
