Yip indeed it was already appropriated from the encyclopedia by the band's designer Peter Saville - same art director responsible for all Joy Division, New Order art.
I just find that the image's association with the band is very strong - which to me makes it kind of ironic... Disney being all about warm fuzzy (sometimes forced) family values...
yet they have a t-shirt now which is closely linked to a band with a dubious name and dark-ish history.
They're definitely not out to cause offense - it does seem sliiiightly ignorant to me though - not indifferent
