DDR4LYF The next guitar hero spin-off. For anyone who has played in a church worship setting. It made me laugh!!! http://www.musicademy.com/2010/01/worship-team-hero-the-rules-of-play/
deefstes Hahahahahahaha Hahahahaha and... hahahahahahaahahah "You play a worship leader of a big time Church in downtown Calgary. As with all worship teams, you must recruit a band (or two) composed entirely of Churched individuals who think they are skilled in their instrument, when really, they are mediocre at best."
MNM7 ROFL!!! This is not the first time I've read something like this. It's funny but in a very scary way closer to the reality than most think. But that is a discussion for another day and a completely different forum.
Garth-S "As with all worship teams, you’re arch-nemesis “satan” will randomly incorporate his evil into your worship team. This will inevitably include failing power supplies, vocal mishaps, instrument destruction, etc.." HAHAHAHAHA! I love this! Even though it's a good laugh, alot is true.
Mr-M ? "Even if is only going from soft to mind-blowingly loud in half a measure, your drummer requires only one skill: and that is to build."
ActionArnie LOL! This is flippin classic! "Once a month, the head pastor must join your worship team with a tamborine." lol ... been there
JoeyBones I have to say, people underestimate how hard it is to build a solid worship team. It's taken our church years and we're up to +-100 members. Keepeing 100 people in line and focused takes a lot on a Tuesday night practice.
Gearhead If this is so true, how come they call it Hero? How can there be any Heroes in a worship team?
RobbieZ Gearhead wrote If this is so true, how come they call it Hero? How can there be any Heroes in a worship team? I agree fulle with Gearhead.
DonovanB Gearhead wrote If this is so true, how come they call it Hero? How can there be any Heroes in a worship team? Irony...
Warren Really funny article ? I've never been in a worship band, but some of that stuff is hilarious ?
DDR4LYF The 'hero' bit is just a joke to make reference to the guitar hero franchise. It is definitely a huge task to build a solid worship team.
