I'm not really into gaming, but i think it's great that so many people who would have never been exposed to guitar orientated music are so amped ? for it now. I've met quite a few people who started out on Guitar Hero who now want to learn to play the real thing. The 2 games above are the only ones i know of lol.

The major two that are mentioned Frets on Fire, Guitar Hero, are there any games for PC. My kids dont give me much time on PS.
Are there any Rock Trivia games or Management games where you manage a rock band through inception till the end, I recall these long years ago.

My wife (fiancee at the time) bought me a game called "Rock Manager". Old game, old graphics but lots of fun for a while ? Had some good humour in it!

Gonna add it to the list.

a few years ago , aerosmith released a game where you played with them , basically you pluged your guitar into the sound card and jammed along with them ... the name escapes me now . basically guitar hero on steroids

My boet has the Guitar Hero Aerosmith game on his xbox 360... you play through their career, its pretty cool.

They're super fun to play ?
But I have a theory that they could somewhat introduce bad habits, not playing on a real guitar.
But one game I would love to play is Guitar Rising and another one (for fun) for the whole band Rock Band.

EDIT: Aah shit I just check out rock manager! I had that game in high school but I lent it to someone and never saw it again...mainly because I forgot who I lent it too lol I've been dying to get my hands on it since!

Its like Guitar speed trainer on your TV ?

Would be cool if you could add custom songs and such.
