Behringer DD400 Opinions

This cheap delay pedal has me interested simply because it's the only pedal I've found in this price range that offers a tap-tempo function. I have owned a few Behringer products, some were awesome and some were terrible. So I'm curious, if you own one of these pedals what's your honest opinion?

Behringer has a terrible rep for a reason: low quality rip off products that don't last.
My opinion would be save up for something better, you'll save money in the long run.

Edit: you asked for the opinion of someone who owns one, sorry ?

No worries, I appreciate your opinion ? Like I said, I have been burnt by Behringer in the past so I'm also skeptical. I have a DD-3 which is awesome, I just wish it had a tap-tempo function.

Touch wood but I've never had any problems with the Behringer PA gear that I have in my rooms and they've been going strong for nearly 8 years now ?

Not so sure about the pedals though. If I remember correctlly the casing is plastic? Not so lekker if you're gonna be jumping around on it all the time ?

I'm with Jack on this one - save up a bit more and grab a decent,well built and reliable delay pedal. There are plenty out there that won't break the bank 8)

8 $ is cheap hey and we buying the things left right an centre at prices north of 5 grand in ZA (contract dependent of course)

point is , the behringer may be cheap ,it may be a knock off (of sorts) but it can serve a purpose and do so well.....

so i stand humbly afore thee and beg forgiveness.....it in fact costs 196$ to make an iphone but i was alluding to the chinese manufacturing componenet.
