This is the first time I have heard Dan!
I was expecting to hear some Fender Strat blues licks, instead he did an Acoustic number "20 stones" from his new album.
It was an Alternate tuning Flatpicking piece which was hectically BRILLIANT. The thing is you get a lot of electric players who just reproduce their playing on an Acoustic e.g. Nuno (Extreme). Dan played this like a Flatpicker, I was monumentally impressed. Will buy the Album now

Respect to Dan 8). I think he's got many more tricks up his sleeve. He certainly deserves the increased exposure this little foray into the mainstream appears to be bringing him. He'll certainly make a few new Blues fans in the process as well.

I watch an interview with him on news24 (yesterday I think). He says his new album will be more rock but still true to the blues. I think that is going to be a good one.
