Six licks worth trying

Hey everybody, I know its been a while since i posted some lessons here. My apologies. I've penned six licks along with notes. Some of them involve sweep picking, tapping, legato etc. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions. Comments welcome. Enjoy! could you maybe put it into a guitar pro file?when i open it in word it doesn't come out correctly

Hi wezz,

Sorry about that. Unfortunately, i don't have any tabbing software. However, i don't see how it could be problematic as i saved it in word 97 format and i made sure that the indentation, margins etc all came out right.

hmmm,ok well on mine it comes out with the notes going under the strings like
E 17 19
17 h 19

something like that...

i'll try correct it or write it into GP for you

man, that add9 shape just sounds SO good and has so many options for improvising. been using it a lot since you showed it to me a while back.

the "Clean Sweep" is rad ? lol. some tapping on the top E string to add extensions is working out great as well.

Open in word, select all (ctrl+A) and resize the font to 9pt. Leave the font as Calibri.

Thanks bro. I took your advice to heart and decided to write down all the stuff i come up with. I've got a few more ideas for solos in the pipeline that i'll be posting shortly. The pity is that i don't have any tabbing software. If i can get some tabbing program from any of the guys on here, that would make my job a whole lot easier.

Arjun, can you record these things at all? Even a basic recording using a mic in the room you're playing in would work for me. I much prefer to hear things first THEN try play them with tab afterwards.

Plus I believe you are uber and I want to hear your uberness ?

I get your point. I will record the licks this Saturday at Guy's place and then put it up here.

As for the uber-ness comment, thank you ? but people like Guy, Andrew, Rene and you are way above me on the uber-ness ladder. I just have to keep trying, i guess ?
