Please point me in the right direction here, I'm looking for a vendor / individual who can assist with printing of t-shirts. The idea is to provide a high def image to be "burnt" onto t-shirts. I need high quality stuff that people will still be able to wear in 5 years' time. Images mustn't look like they've been sewn or plastered on with a tube of superglue.
Any previous experience, suggestions, recommendations?

Hi "M", I have been making my own T shirts for a while using the iron on transfers that you can print on your ink jet printer. Most commercial stationary suppliers can supply these. I have had good results with the ones that are made for white T shirts and very poor results with those described as suitable for black or dark shirts.
This is quite costly, about R10 per shirt excluding the shirt and ink and your time. If you want to do this on a commercial basis, look for a screen printer in your area. This always works out cheaper, but you do need quantities to make it pay.

I have used a guy in Durban many times. After using about 5-6 different people, eventually found someone who does excellent work. However, he is in Durban... PM if you want his details, possibly he can put you in contact with someone in Pretoria that can help you out.
