:goodtimes: As posted by Mannoroth in original thread: Venue: Gumtree Manor as suggested by Joe. Proceedings:Meet and Greet, food and drink on own account (All welcome). Not theme specific, there will be a variety of age, gender, race and musical interests - I’m sure the diversity will only make it more interesting. Let’s respect each other like we do on this forum. Identification: Please wear nametag with forum nick. Transport: If there are people with transport problems please post here, I’m sure the guys will help each other out, the venue is very central. I've sent mail to the venue to see if they'll have us, but I'm sure any pub will have a gathering of musos? I'm mean, what could go wrong? If I'm stepping on your toes by doing this, I'll play you a small violin! Pics of venue posted by Joe: Here's hoping it comes of. (old forum) Poll Results: Which day would suit you best? The date that gets the most votes is the date we finally go for it. Friday Feb the 3rd?: 2 Friday Feb the 10th?: 12

Joe Moore wrote ☹ , I can't make it on either 3rd or 10th. >☹

Can't get hold of Mark Beling either , to see if they going to be playing on the nights mentioned .
Mr. Averatu needs to ask / email the venue maybe.........
Also need to point out , as an afterthought , that this venue allows smoking in all areas ?...... , this doesn't bug me , but may bug others. ( I'm a non-smoker ) :-[

There are 10 months left i the year, no sweat.

Averatu

Thanx Joe. I mailed them again, they could only confirm that there was a band playing.

The reply from the venue:
"We are in the process of creating and installing a complete draught bar but unfortunately it will not be ready by the 10th of February. We can at this stage only offer the draught cans such as Castle draught, Milk stout and Windhoek draught".
