Hi all
Just want ed to find out where i can get a Strat replacement neck. I bought a mighty mite neck and body last year and had it put together. But the neck is horrible. I've tried everything to make it playable, but no success. The bow off the neck only starts roughly where the neck leaves the body, and then its also more bowed on the thick E then the thin e. But because it starts bowing at that point it's nearly impossible to play higher up the neck, unless the action is incredibly high.
Any help would be appreciated.

did you try to adjust the truss rod ?
i've built a guitar with a mighty might neck before, and i was very happy with the quality, and the neck was very stable

Just a thought, have you tried a truss rod adjustment? What kind of neck do you have? Does it have a rosewood slab fingerboard, if so these can usually be saved by removing the board and re - gluing if the warp is severe. If it is a one piece maple neck with no separate fingerboard, some luthiers may be able to get it straight. Ask around in your area for good, reputable guitar techs.
Good luck mate.

Did adjust truss rod while trying to get it playable. Noticed that it was very tight and hard to adjust compared to other guitars.
Live in Kimberley, so luthiers are like chickens teeth here.
Have also filed down the frets higher up the neck, but that didn't help either. That's why i thought of buying another neck. Been trying to fix this thing for more then two months, trying this, trying that.... Not working.
It's a beautiful Swamp Ash body finished in a thin Nitro finish. That's why i want to try get another neck instead of giving up on the guitar.

I've had mixed results with MM. Their QC is far from good.
The best quality necks available for Strats come from USA Custom Guitars - quality woods, built to your spec and most options included in the price. The only downside to USACG is they do not make all options available - if you want an angled headstock, you have to go to Warmoth.
Warmoth can do decent necks too, but you have to change their standard options to get something really good - and they have an annoying habit of "upcharging" you for absolutely everything not standard.

Musikraft is a good alternative to USACG if you're looking for more vintage accurate necks.
