Hi everyone!
Should have done this like a year ago! But hey, better late than never!
I’m actually a singer, songwriter and pianist/keyboardist based in JHB. I love hard rock, alternative metal, grungy-type stuff with a touch of creepiness (hence the piano!)
I joined the forum in a quest to find a guitarist to collaborate with on some of my original material but to date have had no luck ☹. So a couple months ago I figured I’d pick up the axe and do it myself! I have a Fender Squier Bullet Strat. Not a bad beginner's guitar, I must admit! Wasn’t sure whether I’d follow through with the guitar thing but actually... I’m totally loving it! Should’ve started sooner!

Hello Atherie. I'm surprized that you couldnt find someone to collaborate with. Maybe the creepiness made them all scared. Sure as hell wasnt the avatar pic hey. Anyway, have fun.

@Ray: I didn't have any difficulty finding guitarists. Met with a whole bunch and even jammed with a some of them! But like a couple weeks later it's like they vanished from the face of the earth! ??? Not sure why! :-\ Maybe I did scare them in some way... Hopefully it wasn't the music!
