So, I've decided that the only way to get more gigs in this town is to produce a CD that I can give to prospective clients/establishments.
This is a solo act... just me singing with a guitar so that's what I produced so that they can hear what I would sound like live. Below are 10 numbers that will go on to the CD, which I hope shows the diversity of music I play. These downloads are compressed to keep them small for the Internet so the quality is not that good.

I don't expect you to listen to all of them but it would be great if you listen to a couple and give me some constructive feedback.

I enjoyed listening to them Pete, you have a very laidback style and a powerful voice. I dont think there are enough muso's doing what you do out there. :yup: :applause:

Pete, what an amazing voice, I wish God had graced me with a voice like that! I could listen to it all night! ? Loved the tracks. A little too much reverb for me, but that could just be the compressed format? Or possibly just my personal tastes ? Great stuff though pete!

Would 10 songs not be too much? I have also been wanting to put together something along these lines for prospective clients, in my mind this is essentially a press kit. From what I've read a lot of articles mention you only need +-5 songs, blow their socks off and get out.

For some reason I found your cover of Paramore quite funny, just because its Paramore though, no other reason. Really works with your style.

@Paul... yeah, in retrospect there is too much reverb... will do a remix.
@21Fretter... maybe you're right about the 10 numbers. Will think about it.
