Hi there
I'm thinking of selling my 2002 Jackson KVX10 (Japanese model). I would like to know if someone can maybe help me figure out how much I can sell it for?
It with a Rockbag, hardcase with material. It still has the Duncan pickup in and is in very good condition. Once I have an idea on a price I will most probably advertise it in the classifieds here ?

Take something like 50-60% of what it cost at the time and see what happens. You can always drop if it does not work out. Only a-brands drop less, in fact they go back up after a while.

KVX is the model just below the KV pro, but above all the other models made in india and taiwan etc.
Both KV and KVX are the Japan model.
I believe stock they had the duncan designed pups. When you say yours has a Duncan, is the duncan designed or the Seymour duncan?
For KVX in his market and in thisday and age, around 400$, ie, between R2500 andR3500 depending largely on condition.
KV will go for a bit more (round R5k, also dependant on condition)
Good luck

A rule of thumb I use is to advertise the instrument for around 60% of what it would cost to replace the instrument now and then be prepared to negotiate...

Unfortunately guitars like King V's Warlocks and guitars like that have a problem selling 2nd hand for much! i know this from experience!!!!!! (Had a warlock)
So maybe phone a music shop and ask them or what i would do is start at R4500! Good luck!!!!!!
